Being Chaddha

Mr. Chaddha is an entrepreneur.
he has built all by himself a company that is a pioneer in the field of clean room and waste management. CECON(thats his company) has carved a niche for itself supplying all sorts of products all over india and is now diverging into water purification, sound proofing etc. etc.
Mr. Chaddha has been acquiring wealth at apretty good rate. he has installed both his kids at the other two important positions in the company insuring their future. he has also received the "innovative Entrepreneur" award from some rereputed organization and ofcourse has been honoured by the U.P. government.
and before i start sounding biographical...
Mr. Chaddha sucks

the times that i live in there are entrepreneurs and wannabe entrepreneurs galore and more than once has the career option crossed my mind.but until now apart from figuring out its pronunciation and a couple of wayward ideas there had been nothin substantial.
thus, even though my only achievements in the past two weeks has been a mega hi-score in snake(that's the nokia mobile game) and wee-bits of manufacturing knowledge......i'm glad i went to him.
he must be in his late fifties(is a grandfather) and is perhaps the most energetic of all the people working for CECON....has a well furnished office(if not a great factory)....lives the classy lifestyle(though by no means extravagant)
but lets rather talk of his business skills
he's got all the ISO certificates and quality manuals done in great details...ofcourse he doesn't care to stick to them. the no. of workers are just 10 on paper when there are more than 30 at work....well that's required to save some tax and some regulations. the work place is pretty pathetic with little walking space when the huge ugly steel structures are being built...and there are some really outdated equipments...but he's ensured the basic amenities a home made water cooler and a few unused air blowers for the workers...has even set up an indigenous central cooling system fo the office that gave way the first time it was tried. the workers ofcourse are not qualified(what with the hopeless pay packages) yet they can do anything from welding to painting to installation....and they've learned it all there itself...you ofcourse cant expect him to be sweet to them and any form of oversmartness is meted out with the famous punjabi abuses (coming straight out of rang de basanti)....when its a special order he gets an imported duplicate of his product sticks his own label on it and wins accolades for it.

and jus in case he gets a fool to do summer training at his place(i've been the only case)...he ceases the opportunity uses him as an unpaid worker and diminishes the thick line separating an engineer and a mechanic....
well enough of Chaddha bashing. thats probably what you've gotta do to make it big.....
so...for all the e-hopefuls....its a tough road ahead
